Phonics Day 3: Short u review

 

Introduction

Howdy kids. Welcome to day 3 of our short u review week. Short /u remember makes the |u| sound. Today we will do our sound stomp, identify the middle sound in words, read short vowel words, and read our short /u story. But first, let’s do our sound stomp. I am going to say some words. I want you to stomp if you hear a short u in that word. If you hear another sound, you do nothing.
