Hey First graders! Welcome to Phonics. This week we are reviewing another familiar short vowel sound. We will be reviewing the short i vowel sound. To make the short i sound,  you scrunch up your nose like you see something icky!

Today we are going to take words apart, Clap their syllables, review short vowel sounds in words, and read our short/ i/ story. Please watch the videos below. When you finish, grab your learning coach and record yourself reading the story.
