Reading Day 5: Locating Key Details

 

Introduction

Welcome to the end of week 5! This week we read nonfiction text. We worked to identifying the main idea of the text and we identified three key details that support the main idea. We used an ice cream visual to help us understand the relationship between the main idea and key details. Before you begin working today, review our anchor chart and the questions we asked to help us after reading. Then, watch the video below.
