Writing Day 1: How to make my story even better
Introduction:
Hello writers! Last week we worked on stretching out words and using sight words to help us write. This week we will be working on things we can do to make our narrative story even better by adding details. Good writers use their senses to add details so their reader can visualize being in their story! It’s lots of fun. Let’s get started.
Video/Visual:
Use Slide 2-3 to practice writing details.
Activity:
Look back at your narrative writing. What can you add details to. Remember to think about how something looks. This can be characters or setting (where the story takes place). Tomorrow we will look at adding details to describe how something feels.
