Introduction

Welcome readers! We have learned to define the characters and the setting of the story and we have talked about the characteristics of good readers. We learned that good readers ask questions before reading (or making predictions), during reading, and after they have read a text. Today we will continue our focus on key details. Remember, key details are the important information in a story.

Wow, great work today! Can you identify the characters and the setting in the story, “Brave Bora”? The characters were Bora, Jojo, Baba, and the doctor. The setting of the story is the clinic.
