Writing Day 4: Writing Words for Your Story

Introduction:

Welcome back  to the Writer’s Workshop! This year in writing you will write many different types of stories. Today,  we will continue practicing our writing procedures. Yesterday you began writing your words. Today you will finish writing your story. When you finish, you may color. Please watch the videos below. When you finish, grab your journal and be sure to finish your story because tomorrow you will share it. 

 Video:  As you watch, notice how the writer sounds out words as she is spelling them.

In your journal, complete your story. You may color with crayons when you are finished.
