Reading Day 3: Elements of a Narrative

 

Introduction:

Hello readers! Remember the setting of a story is when and where the story takes place. The characters of the story are the people or animals in a story. Today our focus will be how to ask questions about the key details in a story. Key details are the important parts of a story. They help us talk about the story. There are two videos to watch. After you watch the videos, please grab your learning coach and complete the activity below.

Video 1: As you watch the video, pay attention to how "WH" words can be used to ask questions about a picture.

 

Video 2: As you watch the video, think of questions you have that begin with who, what, when, where or how.
