Phonics Day 1: Short a-2

 

Introduction:

Hello, my First Grade Phonics stars! This week we are going to be learning about the short A sound in words.  Please watch the video below. After watching the video, please listen to the story. You will listen to the teacher read it one time and then you will read the story and count all of the short A words that you hear. When you finish, grab your learning coach and record yourself reading the story.
