Standards-SS1H1, SS1G1, SS1CG1-Students will identify the contributions made by Ruby Bridges. They will learn where she lived and how race played a role in her life.

 

Assessments

Standards-SS1H1, SS1G1, SS1CG1- Students will sort images that show segregation, integration, and bravery. They will be asked to journal about what it may have felt like to be Ruby. Students will compare Ruby’s positive character traits to their own. They will finish the week with a quiz.
