Day 1: Black History Month Week 2

Introduction

This week we will be learning more about Black History Month. We will look at different influential people that have helped shape our nation and made the world a better place!

Today we will learn about the brave Harriet Tubman. She was born into slavery and ended up escaping and helping others.

Day 1: Today you will start a project that you will work on for the next 2 weeks. You will need to choose an influential African American to research. You will then create either a lap book, theme park poster, or write an informational story.
