Day 1: George Washington Carver

Introduction

This week we will be learning about George Washington Carver. He was an educator and a scientist. He helped farmers understand why and how they need to rotate their crops and discovered many different things to do with peanuts! If you like peanut butter then you have George Washington Carver to thank!

Today we will introduce George Washington Carver and go over the early years of his life. You will start your character quilt that will be due Thursday.
