Day 1: Lewis and Clark and Sacagawea

Introduction

This week we will be learning about important historical figures,  Lewis and Clark and Sacagawea. Lewis and Clark were explorers who were hired by Thomas Jefferson to explore the newly acquired territory. 

Today we are learning about how their exploration came to be. You will start your character quilt. This activity will take you the next couple of days.
