Writing: Module 31, Lesson 4 (Day 154): Extended Written Response: Opinion Text
Session 4: Drafting an Opposing Viewpoint
Video
It is important to remember when responding to two texts on the Georgia Milestones you will be expected to include information from both passages in your writing. A clever way to do this, is to write about the opposing point of view in your opinion piece. For example, if you are writing about why dogs SHOULD be allowed in restaurants, you should also acknowledge that there are others who feel that dogs SHOULD NOT be allowed in restaurants.
