Today you’re going to plan a new story.  Think of another troublesome moment in your life that follows this structure: 

Page 1: the part where the trouble starts

Page 2: the part where the trouble gets worse  

Page 3: the part where the trouble is resolved

Directions:

  • Complete Step 1:  Think of a "trouble story" or something that happened to you when things were hard.  Think about how the trouble started, how it got worse, and how it was resolved.
  • Open to the next blank pages in your writer's notebook.  Label: "Page 1:  Trouble Starts"; "Page 2: Problem gets worse"; "Page 3: Problem resolved".
  • Using Flipgrid, record yourself completing Step 2.  Touch each page, and TELL each part of the story.
