In Your Notebook:
Directions:
- Set the timer to 1 minute. Read as many words from set one as you can in one minute.
- Do this two more times. Counting the number of words read after each time and jotting that number in your reading notebook.
- Title the page Sight Word List One Second Practice in your notebook and underneath that write Number of Words in One Minute. (see example below).
Go back and compare today’s list with the first time you read List one. That page is titled Sight Word List One First Practice Did you get better?
