Phonics: Module 17, Lesson 2 (Day 82): Irregular Plurals

Phonics: Lesson 2 - Build Automaticity with Irregular Plurals

Introduction

  • Today, you will blend words with irregular plurals and read words to develop fluency.

Yesterday, we learned how to identify words with irregular plurals. Some nouns change letters to form the plural, and others have the same spelling for the singular and plural. They don’t follow a rule, so you have to remember them.

Irregular Plural Nouns: knife, knives, foot, feet, moose, moose

Let’s practice building our reading fluency by completing the Build Automaticity with Irregular Plurals.

Instructions: Practice reading the list of words three times. Then, login to Flipgrid to record yourself reading the words fluently.
