Phonics: Module 34, Lesson 2 (Day 167): Build Automaticity with Adjective Suffixes

Phonics: Lesson 2 - Build Automaticity with Adjective Suffixes

Introduction

Today, you will blend words with adjective suffixes and read words to develop fluency.

  • Yesterday, we learned about adjective suffixes.
  • Remember, a suffix is a letter or group of letters placed at the end of a word to create a new word.
  • The endings -ful, -ous, -ilbe, -able, and -some are adjective suffixes.
  • These suffixes form adjectives when they are added to words.
