Hello readers! Today, I’d like to teach a new strategy to help you read more fluently. This one is called “Make the Bumpy Smooth!”

Sometimes it's hard to read smoothly when you see new words for the first time. Once you figure out the new words, go back and reread to try to smooth it out. Try scooping the words into phrases instead of reading one at a time.
