Research Report-- Glossary

Video

Hello writers. Today you will review your research and set up your glossary. A glossary is like a mini dictionary that tells the definitions of words that are special to your report.

Directions:

  • Open up your Research Report from your Google Drive.  Jump to Day 4: Glossary.
  • Today (Day 4), read through your research carefully. Look for any specialized words you may use in your finished report.  These specialized words will need to be placed in your Glossary so that readers can reference it while reading your report for clarification.  For example, if you were writing about frogs, you would want your readers to understand the word "amphibian." You would want to put the word "amphibian" and its meaning in the glossary.
