Hello Writers! Today you will begin a new type of information writing: an animal research project. During this project, you will learn how to present your research to readers, as well as learn all about an animal you are interested in.

• You will use this Deck for the next two weeks to create an animal research report.  The deck is broken down into 10 days, and you will do part of the report each day.

• Today (Day 1), you will think about animals you are interested in. Choose one that you really want to learn more about, and tell a little about why you are interested in learning more.
