Reading: Module 26, Lesson 1 (Day 126): Independent Reading: Fluency-- Snap Your Eyes

Fluency- Snap Your Eyes

Video

Hello readers! Today I’d like to teach a new strategy for reading with fluency. This one is called “Snap to the Next Line.” Sentences don’t always end at the end of the line. So as you’re reading, if you don’t see punctuation at the end of the line, you will need to make your eyes move ahead and SNAP to the next line. Try to read without pausing until you get to the punctuation.
