Introduction
Today, you will blend and read words with hard and soft g to develop fluency.
Visual
Hard g makes the /g/ sound as in gold. When g is followed by a, o, or u, the sound is usually hard.
Soft g makes the /j/ sound as in germ. When g is followed by e, i, or y, the sound is usually soft.
