Introduction

  • Today, you will blend words with irregular plurals and read words to develop fluency.

Video/Visual

  • Yesterday, we learned how to identify words with long oo and short oo. Let’s review the two sounds again. Listen carefully as I say the word, tooth. Do you hear a short oo or a long oo sound? I hear the long oo sound in the word, tooth.
  • Now listen as I say the word, foot. In the word foot, I hear a short oo sound.
