Reading: Module 15, Lesson 1 (Day 71): Independent Reading: Engagement-- Hear the Story
Reading Strategy Practice: Hear the Story
Video
Hello readers! Today I’d like to teach a new strategy for staying engaged. This one is called “Hear the Story.” Even though you’re reading silently, really try to hear the story to stay engaged. Read slower. Be in the world of the story. Don’t just picture the story - hear all the different voices.
