Phonics: Lesson 2 - Build Automaticity with Vowel Team Syllables.

Introduction

Today, you will blend words with vowel team syllables and read words to develop fluency.

Yesterday, we learned how to identify words with vowel team syllables. A vowel team syllable has two or more letters that stand for one vowel sound.

When you decode a word by syllables, the vowel team letters always stay in the same syllable.
