Introduction

Today, you will identify, read, and spell words with vowel team syllables syllables.

• Look at the word raisin. The vowel team ai in the first syllable of raisin stands for the long a sound. The vowel team must stay together in the same syllable.
• Now look at the word, repeat. The vowel team ea in the second syllable stands for the long e sound.
