Introduction

Today, you will blend words with the long i spelling patterns and read words to develop fluency.

Yesterday, we learned about the long i spelling patterns. 
Long i words can be spelled in different ways: i_e, igh, y, ie, and with the letter i when it comes at the end of a syllable.

Let’s practice building our reading fluency by completing the Build Automaticity with Long i activity.
