Reading: Module 5, Lesson 2 (Day 22): Literary Text: Engagement- Hear the Story

Engagement:  Hear the Story

Video

Hello readers! Today I’d like to teach you that even if you are reading silently to yourself, try to hear the story to stay engaged.

Reading Strategy Practice:  Hear the Story

One thing you can do as a reader to keep you focused is to hear the story. Slow down and use your imagination to hear what is being said. Read with your ears! As you read, pause and ask yourself: Who’s speaking now, the author? The Narrator? One of the characters?
