Introduction

Today, you will sort words with short vowels by common characteristics.

A noun is a word that names a person, place, thing, or idea. Examples: nurse, store, toy, bravery.

A verb is a word that shows action. Examples: jump, mix, write, read.

An adjective is a word that describes a noun. Examples: foggy, sharp, rough, happy.
