Contraction Match

Directions:

  • You will be matching a contraction to the two words that it makes up. Remember, an apostrophe takes the place of missing letters.  For example, the words 'could' and 'not' can create the shortened word 'couldn't.'  The apostrophe takes the place of the 'o' in 'not', making the contraction.
