Lesson 7 Habitats: Flora of the Blue Ridge Mountains

Greetings!

Today we are going to start learning about the Blue Ridge Mountain region. The Screencast video will share what the landscape of the region is like, and then you will learn about the common plants from there.

When you watch the Screencast, ask yourself:

  • Which regions also have these plants?
  • Are any of the trees deciduous (meaning they change color in the fall)?

As always, you have a digital poster to use as a reference when you need to refer to it!
