Teamwork and Leadership
Introduction
Do you have what it takes to become a leader? When the word "leadership" comes to mind it normally presents pictures of people that stand out from the team. Healthcare professionals are expected and sometimes required to maintain membership in professional healthcare organizations that relate to their specific careers. Professional healthcare organizations enhance the delivery and quality of care delivered through continuing education, research opportunities, and leadership development. HOSA, Future Health Professionals, provides the opportunity for students to obtain the skills and development required as a springboard to a successful career in healthcare science.
