EFF: Overview
Effective Research
Introduction
The Effective Research module, in essence, is the culmination of much of the work you began in the Rhetoric in the Media module. We've focused on selecting a research topic of interest and then taking the sources you've gathered on a topic to compile an annotated bibliography. Now that you have a foundational understanding on the perspectives involved in selecting a research topic, we can focus on composing an effective research question. You will begin this module by learning about elements of an effective research question. You will then learn about outlining your argument as you focus on organization. Additionally, we will discuss the composition of a first draft for a research essay. To finish the module, we will review important terms to know for the AP English Language exam.
Module Objectives
- Explain the elements of an effective research question
