WW1: Lesson - The Writing Process
The Writing Process
Writing is an ongoing process – it is quite rare to compose a pristine, written response without going through this process. First, there is prewriting; prewriting goes by many names, but most often people call it brainstorming. This is where your ideas get onto paper! After brainstorming, you should complete some form of outlining where you sort your ideas. Using this outline, you then draft your response, which you then revise. After numerous revisions (and sometimes numerous drafts), your writing is ready to be edited, finalized, and published! Any genre or type of writing will always benefit from following this process.
