As we stated in Module 1, there are various ways to create a web page. During the early days of web development, students learned to create and edit web pages using software such as Notepad Editor, which allowed students the opportunity to see edits immediately without publishing the website to the world wide web. Now we have so many options for website development depending on your preferences.

For web page developers that enjoy the creative flexibility to modify and edit web pages for a truly unique experience, building your web page “from scratch” has proven to be exhilarating for many. From scratch, in this example, simply means to input desired information directly into the website editor utilizing HTML, Javascript, etc. For others, creating a web page from scratch can seem a bit overwhelming, and they may choose to utilize a template web page and make modifications by dragging and dropping content in the desired layout. As a student, it is important to understand the advantages and disadvantages of your options. To truly understand how to creatively flex our skills we will experience firsthand how to create a web page.
