Introduction
This course is designed to provide a college level experience and preparation for the Advanced Placement examination, administered each year in May. Because of the high level of this course, you will be expected to interpret historical documents, master a significant body of factual information, and write several critical essays at a higher level and at a faster pace than in a regular high school history class. This course is truly global in scope and will include topics concerning civilizations from all continents except Antarctica. It also fulfills the world history graduation requirement for a Georgia high school diploma.
