Musical Terminology
Musical Terminology is a standardized form of symbols, letters and words that give direction to a musician in performing music or reading a musical score. Most of the words are either Italian or English. In this module we will learn some of the most commonly used musical terms that refer to direction or instruction with regard to dynamics, articulations, tempo and style.

Key Terms
- Articulation - the style in which music notes are played.
- Dynamics - the volume level of a sound or note.
- Musical Style - is the way a particular music characteristic is expressed while performing.
- Tempo - refers to how fast or slow music is performed.
