Harmony Lesson
In music, harmony is the use of simultaneous pitches or chords. The study of harmony involves chords and their construction and chord progressions and the principles of that govern them. Harmony is often said to refer to the "vertical" aspect of music, as opposed to the melodic line, which would be the "horizontal" aspect.
Harmony is made up of different chords and the basic unit of chord is a triad. A triad is a 3-note chord spelled in 3rds. For example; CEG, GBD, ACE, etc.
