Music of the Stage and Screen Module Overview

Introduction

In this module students will learn about some of the better-known composers of Broadway Musicals and hear some important music of this genre. Students will also hear some of the more important musical works from the movies and learn about some of the better-known composers from this genre as well.

Off Broadway - refers to smaller theaters in the New York city area.
