(NNAE) Adult Interview Project

Take a few minutes to interview someone you know over age 65. You can do this by phone, computer, mail, or in person. Ask them the following questions:

  1. What type of foods did you eat when you were young?
  2. What was the main purpose of eating when you were young?
  3. How did your eating habits change in adulthood?
  4. Did you exercise as an adult and if so, how often?
  5. Do you have any disease or health problems? If yes, how did you obtain it?
  6. Describe your diet now?
  7. Do you exercise? If so, how often?
  8. What could you do to improve your diet?
  9. What keeps you from eating as healthy as possible?
  10. Do you feel like you have the proper education to eat healthfully?

You may gather this information and put it in a cartoon format or a mp3 sound file using Audacity Links to an external site. or another similar program.
