(NDAC) Disease Presentation Assignment

Create a presentation about how to prevent disease in adults. You must choose a disease not listed in the module. Please use the following guidelines when creating your presentation.

1. List the title on the front page/slide- Example: Eating well to prevent _____________ along with a photo
2. List the disease and tell how it is acquired
3. List at least 6 foods that help to prevent your disease
4. List the treatment and prevention of your disease
5. Include a recipe that utilizes at least 2 of your disease fighting foods
6. Include 6 images throughout presentation

As you can see, a healthy diet is very important in preventing disease. Our bodies work much more effectively if we eat a healthy diet. They are able to fight off disease more effectively, control weight, and keep energy levels up. Suggested programs include PowerPoint, or another approved presentation program. Refer to rubric for grading.
