Choose ONE of the following options to complete for your project.
Choice #1: Persuasive Map
Research the reasons that people eat meat and the reasons that people do not. Please include how people's opinions are formed on the benefits or disadvantages of eating meat. Do society's views play into this? Is it a moral decision with the way animals are treated? Create a persuasive argument for each side of this debate, including the pros and cons. Submit either the image file or a screenshot of your map and ensure that it is big enough to be read by your instructor. Include a word processing document with the sources you used for this assignment.
Choice #2: Vegan for a Day
Go Vegan for a day! Try to eat only plant based foods for one day - this means no meat by-products. Keep a daily food journal in which you list the items you ate and the amounts. Include calorie and fat information as well (template provided below). Then, answer the questions on the handout to analyze your feelings and ideas of this type of diet.
