Screen Arrangement Layout

Screen arrangement and layout should be considered when creating apps to enhance usability. In app inventor, when components are added to the screen, they are organized vertically by default. As you add more components, they need to be arranged on the screen through the layout components.

In the Designer Palette, click on Layout to display the different arrangement options.

Every component is characterized by various properties. The current values of these properties are the state of the component. You can specify the initial state of a component in the Properties pane of the Designer window.
