FCCLA Events

Involvement in FCCLA's Competitive Events programs offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life necessary in families, communities, and workplaces. Members can demonstrate family and consumer sciences skills, career skills, and interpersonal skills through the following competitive events:

• FCCLA/Knowledge Matters Virtual Business Challenge - Personal Finance
• FCCLA/LifeSmarts Knowledge Bowl
• Skill Demonstration Events
• STAR Events

STAR Events (Students Taking Action with Recognition) recognize members for proficiency and achievement in chapter and individual projects, leadership skills, and career preparation. STAR Events offer individual skill development and application of learning.
