Summary
The Marketing Mix consists of product, price, place, and promotion, better known as the 4 P's of Marketing. In order to be able to effectively apply the 4P's, you must identify your target market. Your target market can be segmented several different ways including, demographic, psychographic, and behavioristic. Once your target market is identified, it is easier to choose the promotional tools that you need to use to attract new customers. Paying attention to your target market and organizing your customer data through a Customer Relationship Management system, can give you a competitive advantage.
