(COR) Health and Fitness in LPSCS Lesson

Health and Fitness in LPSCS Lesson

Oddly enough, health and fitness is on the decline in LPSCS staff. You would think the requirements of the job would keep LPSCS officers on top of their game. But with many hours of paperwork and sitting in patrol cars, fitness is tough to maintain. Additionally most police find it difficult to eat right since most meals are consumed in the patrol car - which means it mostly came from a drive through. Also, many in LPSCS use tobacco. And as mentioned in the previous lesson - stress is literally a killer.

One thing I have learned about health and fitness is that most people are very familiar with what they should do to live healthier, they simply don't do it. So I am going to give you some fun refreshers and a challenge.

Being physically active is one of the most important steps that Americans of all ages can take to improve their health. Regular physical activity can produce long-term health benefits.
