So you have found the job, submitted the application with your resume and prepared your portfolio - now comes the most important part! The interview is your opportunity to control the employers' first impression of you. It is critical you come prepared. Don't forget that your goal is to sell yourself, your skills and your abilities. You want them to know all your positive assets.

Many people blow the interview. There really is no reason for this. With good preparation, you can ace it. Most fail because they haven't learned some of the basics of interviewing.

Don't forget that the interview is actually a conversation. You want to find out more about the job, the company and salary. An important piece of the interview is you finding out if this is the right job for you. It impresses the interview panel when you are knowledgeable about the company and can ask good questions about your potential future with them.
