Day 2 Explorers: Crossing the Atlantic

Explorers: Crossing the Atlantic

Introduction

Top of the morning to you!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to cross an ocean? Now imagine it with a crew of people you barely know, there is no electricity because it hasn’t been invented yet (that’s right–you can’t play on your iPad!), and the food on board is mostly fish and stale bread.

By the way–the voyage may take 2-3 months, and there are no flushing toilets.

Below, you have a digital poster with the things the explorers were searching for on their missions to the New World.

Then you get to click through some dialogue cards and write a response on a discussion board.

Visual
