End of Unit

Introduction

World Travelers!  How does it feel?  We've explored 6 regions.  Six! 

We've learned a lot on our journey around the regions!  We hope you have had fun discovering the different climate, terrain, housing, clothing, food and more within each region.

There are American Indians from many tribes still living throughout the United States today and they make unique contributions to our lives today.  Watch the video below to learn more.

Think back to the video of the Apache dancers. 

❓Did you know...❓

The dance is not choreographed, that is, the steps are not planned out and practiced.  Some of the dancers even close their eyes during the dance. 

How do you think they move so well together? 

How do they keep from crashing into each other or falling off the stage? 

What else did you notice about the dance?
