We made it, World Travelers!  Our final destination is here!  And it's a cold one 🥶❄️🏔️brrrrrrr!

Today, we will explore the Arctic/Subarctic region.

Arctic/Subarctic Region

You will make your final entry on your independent research of each region by gathering the information below on the Arctic/Subarctic region.

terrain: what is the description of the land, plants, etc.

natural resources: what is provided by the land

climate: what are the temperatures of the seasons like

water features: what water sources are available

natural hazards: what natural hazards could happen or someone could face while living in this region

other interesting information: Native American tribes that lived within this region of the United States

For today's task, you will continue your independent research.

  • Use the Document that looks like this:

  • You should have named it Your Name's Tribes Within Regions Research (ex. Susie's Tribes Within Regions Research).
  • Be sure to use a safe search engine (check with your teacher) and the flashcards on this page to gather information on the Arctic/Subarctic region.
  • Type in each fact across the row for the Arctic/Subarctic region.
  • You will use this document over the next few days and turn it in when you have finished researching all the regions.
